Wicked Lady

And now, for something completely different: ME!

I took a small break at Youma from shooting other costumers to wearing a proper costume myself- Maleficent from KH2 and Sleeping Beauty. (It was halloween, I couldn' resist!)

The costume took a few weeks to make, the sleeves are fully lined and scalloped with heat and bond to fuse the edges. The headdress is paper pulp over newspaper and cheesecloth.

The makeup is Ben Nye and a PAIN IN THE ASS to put on- it took almost two hours, and taking it off is close to an hour itself. My face was raw for the rest of the weekend.

I can't believe how much response I got for this costume! I'm so glad it was so well recieved, and I'll definately have to re-wear it again.
