Lady Stripes - Riding Hat

I really love hats!

This is a ladies riding hat, half scale to perch on one side of the head at a jaunty angle. It's handmade, of wire and buckram construction.

The hat is covered in an awesome cotton print, with red and grey stripes and a black floral over-embroidery. It reminds me much of a ladies' country riding hat, less formal but still respectable for outings.

The hat is trimmed with a red silk hatband and a gorgeous spray of feathers, including pheasant and goose in red and black. The hatband is finished with a single red jewel at the back.

The hat comes with a comb sewn in to help hold it to your head at a jaunty angle. I can add elastic on request.
