Artist's Comments

The lovely Calico as Midna from Twilight Princess, from a very quick shoot just ouside the con centre at FanExpo. Calico was awesome and braved mozzies to climb into the bush for this shot, and it really came out great.

Shooting in pitch black isn't fun, so the trick was to light her face from the glow of my cellphone so the camera could focus- and then shoot from there! (Next time, I pack a flashlight!)

Much thanks to Ryn from :icon8-13: for holding the flash for the shoot!

I'm behind the camera, not in the costume.

*laughs* the light on the pic is actually from the flash- my cellphone just lit her face enough for my camera to catch and autofocus. Then she'd put the phone down at her feet, and I'd snap a pic or two and we'd repeat the whole process again. XD
